TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of Service
Effective 10 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Kendell, provided by Kendell Tech Ltd ("Kendell", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, registered office 3 Chiltern Court, Asheridge Rd, Chesham HP5 2PX, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Kendell is an assistant that connects to accounts you authorise (such as Google or Microsoft) to help you track commitments, manage your inbox and calendar, prepare documents and recall information. Kendell uses automated systems, including third-party AI models, to do this.
2. Your account and your connected accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. When you connect a third-party account (Google, Microsoft, WhatsApp, or any other provider), you confirm that you have the right to grant Kendell the access you are granting, and you remain bound by that provider's own terms.
3. Actions taken on your behalf
Kendell may propose actions — sending an email, booking or moving a meeting, drafting a document, sending a WhatsApp message — but will not carry one out without your explicit approval, except for any specific automation you have separately switched on in Settings (for example, automatically booking a meeting time the other side agreed to). You can turn any such automation off at any time, and you are responsible for reviewing what you approve before it is sent.
4. AI-generated content
Summaries, drafts, classifications and documents Kendell produces are generated with the help of third-party AI models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Kendell is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical or other advice, and you should review anything Kendell produces before relying on or sending it. Where Kendell cites a source, it only cites records it can verify exist in your own connected data — but you remain responsible for verifying anything before you act on it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, defraud or impersonate anyone; to attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation; to reverse-engineer, scrape or interfere with the Service's normal operation; or to use the Service to process data you are not lawfully entitled to process.
6. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party providers (Google, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, OpenAI, Google Gemini, ElevenLabs, WhatsApp, and others). We are not responsible for the availability, content or practices of those providers, and an outage or change on their part may affect the Service.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, or if required by law, with notice where practicable.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kendell Tech Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including loss arising from an inaccurate AI-generated summary, draft or classification, or from an action you approved. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
11. Contact
